The tasks of the Department of Ageing and Health are carried out in various specialist areas. These include, in particular, advice from the Old Age and Health Contact Point, outpatient and partly inpatient care for older people as well as leisure and educational/cultural activities. The department also carries out outreach work for the elderly in the form of housing and settlement assistance. It is also a contact point and information center for old age and health.
