History of the establishment of Leika Bau AG

In 1924, the electrical specialist store "Hardmeier" was founded in Herrliberg. From the outset, the company was also active in electrical network construction and was responsible for the construction and maintenance of the EW Herrliberg cable network.

When Jakob Hardmeier took over the business in 1974, "Elektro-Hardmeier AG" was founded, which was responsible for the construction, operation and maintenance of the EW Herrliberg until the end of 1989.

As the third generation, Christoph Hardmeier founded the company "Leika Bau AG" based in Herrliberg on 1.1.1990.

Christoph Hardmeier trained as an electrician and, after completing his apprenticeship, only dealt with electrical network construction in his father's company.

This enabled him to acquire in-depth knowledge. After attending the preparatory course, he finally successfully passed the professional examination as a grid electrician.

Through the employment of trained network electricians and their continuous further training, a competent and highly motivated team has grown up.

The use of modern machines and tools is just as much a matter of course at Leika Bau AG as the training of trainee electricians.

Today, Leika Bau AG is a "small but fine" company that enjoys a very good reputation among its long-standing customers.
