Fertas is a laboratory specializing in the field of fertility and comprises four main sectors:

- Diagnosis of male infertility (andrology) through a comprehensive catalog of specific medical analyses.

- Sperm preparation for intrauterine insemination (with spousal or donor sperm).

- In vitro fertilization and associated techniques (IVF, ICSI, embryo cryopreservation, preimplantation diagnosis and screening, prolonged culture with Time-Lapse Embryoscope system, ...).

- Fertility preservation  (sperm freezing and oocyte vitrification).

Regional laboratories are located in Fribourg, Geneva, Lausanne, Montreux, Neuchâtel and Sion.

Fertas works closely with the Centre médical de fertilité CPMA LAUSANNE, FertiGenève and the infertility units of the cantonal hospitals fribourgeois, genevoisand neuchâtelois as well as with over 300 doctors in private practice.
