Etablissements Publics pour l'Intégration (EPI) – Contacts & Location
Description
A place for everyone!
Etablissements publics pour l'intégration (EPI) contribute to the social and/or professional integration of people who are disabled and/or experiencing difficulties with professional and/or social integration.
EPIs welcome and accommodate people with disabilities in day centers and residences, with qualified professional support. They ensure the well-being and fulfillment of residents, aim to develop or maintain their skills and promote their autonomy.
EPIs offer paid jobs, with employment contracts, in adapted workshops.
These workshops employ both disabled and socially fragile people living in Switzerland. They offer the possibility of practicing several types of trade in a variety of fields. They are primarily open to people with disability insurance, but also to people with integration difficulties.
.EPIs develop assessment and rehabilitation measures, training and apprenticeships for people with health problems, long-term unemployment or social exclusion, with the aim of integrating or reintegrating them into the world of work.
The EPI raise society's awareness of the importance of integrating people with disabilities, difficulties integrating into the workforce or health problems, by carrying out exemplary actions and communicating them.
