Barokas Architects is the office founded by Albert Barokas (1942 - 2019). The spirit and philosophy of its founder are perpetuated today by Maria-Carmen Rueda, who worked alongside Albert Barokas from 1999 until his death.

This spirit and philosophy are rigor, precision and meticulousness to achieve the perfect functionality of each space. Albert Barokas firmly believed that architecture should serve the needs of its occupants, creating an environment adapted to their way of life. He strived to create spaces that reflected the personality and aspirations of those who inhabited them. From the very first contact with his clients, he asked an essential question: "How do you live? Each of his projects is an expression of his love of detail and constant desire for innovation.

Albert Barokas had a sober, uncluttered design, demonstrating a remarkable attention to detail and meticulousness. He was a perfectionist to the point of creating furniture specific to each of his projects.

Albert Barokas focused on volumetry and the creation of large, imposing and inspiring spaces. He loved unconventional shapes, and brought a touch of originality and distinctiveness to each design.
