Echographie Dianecho – Contacts & Location
Description
Welcome to the Dianecho ultrasound center.
We are pleased to welcome you to our center to perform ultrasounds related to your pregnancy but also pelvic ultrasounds performed outside your pregnancy.
Ultrasound is an important medical examination rich in information. During your pregnancy, it enables us to assess your child's growth and proper development. Rest assured that we will do everything in our power to offer you our experience and availability to ensure that this stage of your life takes place under the best possible conditions.
Utrasound examinations related to your pregnancy are an important and informative medical procedure.
Pregnancy-related ultrasounds
- the 1st trimester ultrasound, carried out between 11 and 14 weeks of amenorrhea, which checks that the fetus is developing properly and, above all, enables screening for trisomy 21 by measuring nuchal translucency.
- the 20th week, known as morphological, the aim of which is to check in particular that there are no malformations of the fetus.
Choriocentesis or amniocentesis
This involves removing cells from the future placenta (choriocentesis or trophoblast biopsy) or from the amniotic fluid (amniocentesis) with the aim of studying:
- the chromosomal map of the fetus, i.e. the number and structure of chromosomes, which makes it possible to determine, for example, a possible trisomy 21.
- the fetal DNA, which makes it possible to determine, for example, the presence of certain genetic diseases .
- the presence of infectious agents such as toxoplasmosis or cytomegalovirus found in amniotic fluid.
Gynecological ultrasounds (performed outside pregnancy)
These are carried out outside pregnancy periods in the context of disorders of the entire small pelvis region. In particular, they enable the uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries to be seen.
