We, the Migros Pension Fund, see ourselves as the competence center for occupational benefits within the Migros Group.
History
Only a few years after Migros was founded in 1925, the first steps towards the creation of a pension fund were underway thanks to Gottlieb Duttweiler. At the end of the seventies, a first consolidation took place which, in 1985, with the introduction of compulsory occupational benefits and the integration of all previous pension schemes into the Migros Pension Fund (MPF), gave it its current form. The above-average level of benefits and the over-parity representation of employees on our management committees are a reflection of our culture of social partnership.

Today, the CPM acts as a competence center for occupational benefits within the Migros community. The main elements of our activity are guaranteeing the pension objective and transparency in terms of pension fund management. In 2014, CPM celebrated its 80th anniversary. Some 300 employees in the insurance, investment and organization divisions contribute to the efficient implementation of our performance mandate.
