LE PROCéDé VERNEUIL

Sapphire production at TIMSAPH uses a technique based on the industrial process known as "Verneuil", which gives rise to sapphire drop by drop from alumina powder fused by the thermal energy of various gases (at a temperature in excess of 2,000°C).

A state-of-the-art TECHNOLOGY

TIMSAPH was created in 2015, after 8 months of research and development aimed at designing specific processes, procedures and tools.

Constantly innovating, TIMSAPH boasts cutting-edge technology enabling ultra-fine adjustments to the diffusion of gases and alumina powder. Developed on the basis of the Verneuil process, the exclusive and sophisticated machines ensure internal quality in line with watchmaking standards, but also better external quality (regularity of shapes and sizes).

100% SWISS PRODUCTION

TIMSAPH has a fleet of 131 machines, specific control equipment and a dozen qualified staff to guarantee top-quality production.

As a local company, TIMSAPH has a stock of sapphire products with diameters ranging from 27 to 44 mm, enabling it to satisfy its customers (brand or producer) as quickly as possible.
