We offer professional tree care services - from advice on planting and care to felling. We also offer horticulture and garden maintenance as well as courses, training and the sale of tree-related materials. Please refer to the detailed descriptions of these services, which we have illustrated with photos.

Consultations and inspections

We can advise you on all aspects of trees in residential and urban areas, from planting and care to felling. Do you have questions about the safety of your tree or about diseases and pests? Then we are the right people to contact. We advise private individuals as well as the federal government, cantons and municipalities. An initial on-site inspection is non-binding and free of charge. On request, we will inspect your tree free of charge with regard to its general condition, stability and resistance to breakage and provide care recommendations.

Appraisals and expert opinions

We thoroughly inspect your tree on site. If necessary, we carry out root soundings. We pay particular attention to wood-decaying fungi, diseases and pests, etc. and also assess the situation in terms of environmental influences.

We then draw up a comprehensive report, including photo documentation, in which we assess the general condition, stability and resistance to breakage as well as life expectancy and the necessary maintenance measures and maintenance intervals. If, depending on the findings, the tree has to be felled, we also make suggestions for replacement planting.

We prepare written reports/expert opinions for construction projects in the vicinity of trees and show the tree protection measures associated with the construction project.

We also carry out value calculations in the event of total damage or damage assessments in the event of partial damage to trees. This is done using a special form, e.g. by determining the damage to the root, trunk or crown area of a tree caused by a traffic accident for the attention of the insurance company, or we calculate the value of a tree that has to be felled due to a construction project.

Our value calculations are also recognized in court.

Care concepts

Do you have a garden with a large number of trees or even a park with many trees? We will be happy to create a customized maintenance concept for your tree population. The trees are all recorded in a table with their German and botanical name, size, condition and the necessary care measures and care costs. In addition, the trees are marked on a simple site plan and given numbers. The cost summary with and without VAT shows the annual expenditure for the recommended measures and enables precise budgeting. The advantages of a maintenance concept are that your trees are cared for and maintained in the long term and safety around the trees is guaranteed. Maintenance concepts are particularly suitable for federal, cantonal or municipal parks as well as private gardens with a large tree population.

Crown pruning

We specialize in all types of crown pruning for young and old trees. Using the double-rope technique, we carry out crown pruning efficiently and to a high standard. We take the customer's wishes into account as far as we can professionally represent them. Tree preservation and safety requirements are the most common reasons for crown pruning. We differentiate between various types of pruning, such as training pruning, corrective pruning, structural pruning, crown maintenance, relief pruning, clearance pruning and crown boundary pruning. The most important pruning is training pruning for young trees, which is unfortunately often missed. Old trees are pruned using rope climbing techniques, often at dizzying heights. In rare cases, the lifting platform is also used for crown pruning.

With fruit trees and orchards, the focus is always on fruit yield. Accordingly, pruning/fruit pruning is used for these trees. We also specialize in this area.

We also carry out form pruning, e.g. columnar, hanging or umbrella shape, whereby the trees are trained in a very specific shape and maintained in this form. Tools such as bamboo poles are used for this. Our team has the necessary expertise and experience that such topiary requires.

Ivy on trees is generally not a problem. Nevertheless, there are many reasons why ivy needs to be removed from trees. With ivy growth, precise tree control is not possible. If the ivy grows up into the crown, it competes for light and provides an increased area exposed to wind and snow. It can also strangle thinner branches. Ivy growth on trees must always be thoroughly assessed. Excessive growth on the tree must be prevented. A great deal of experience is required to deal with ivy on trees. We have the necessary expertise.

We also remove mistletoe from trees because, as a semi-parasite, it draws water and nutrients from the tree.

We professionally remove foreign growth on trees such as elderberries, birches, etc. This also applies to ingrown objects such as gutters. However, this work requires a great deal of specialist knowledge.

Of course, we also take care of cordoning off danger zones during pruning work and disposing of the cuttings. We have the necessary equipment to dispose of the prunings efficiently.
