The Neue Tagesschule Chur is a private secondary school that is open, critical and flexible to the needs of young people.

Day school
Since 1994 our focus has been on young people and their care. They should be encouraged and supported in their individual way. The care extends daily from 7.30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and, in addition to lessons, includes lunch, breaks and free time as well as task supervision under the guidance of dedicated teachers.

Supervised task times and learning coaching
The task times we supervise allow the young people to work individually and at their own pace. We encourage pupils to work independently and to act responsibly. Learning is the most important raw material of our future. Learning happens always and everywhere. There is no such thing as isolated learning; every successful learning process has a direct impact on us and our environment. Meaningful learning is therefore becoming increasingly important and forms the foundation for dealing with the enormous changes in our environment. Young people need teachers who are familiar with the specific learning processes and can pass them on credibly.

Teaching team
We value a teaching atmosphere that is based on mutual respect and trust and a benevolent and supportive attitude on the part of the teachers. Our team is made up of experienced teachers who are competent and committed. In its daily work, it motivates, supports, encourages and challenges the young people.
