Since its creation in 1990, the Ecole Internationale de Shiatsu - Carouge has trained hundreds of people, from the most elementary courses to the therapist diploma, accredited by all Swiss authorities: ASS, ASCA, RME, EDUQUA but also recognized in France.

The curriculum rests on the 4 fundamental pillars of a balanced know-how between practical and energetic skills, enabling us to exploit both creativity and the rigor of a protocol.

What are these 4 pillars?

The first is based on teaching the traditional fundamentals of Shiatsu.
These fundamentals include learning how to move on the ground, position oneself, discover one's hara, strengthen it and, in parallel, approach the practice of the 12 meridians according to their classical and historical paths.

The second is based on teaching the specifics of Masunaga Zen Shiatsu.

Masunaga Zen Shiatsu is characterized by a theory and specific meridians favoring a treatment dynamic complementary to traditional shiatsu.

The third is based on the teaching of Shiatsu of the osteo-muscular structure, specific to our school.

This approach to treatment adds know-how focused on assessing and adjusting postural balance through work at the muscular and articular level.

The fourth is based on the teaching of Chinese medicine theory (TCM) adapted to the practice of shiatsu.
