Econs SA has qualified personnel and appropriate instrumentation for the detection and analysis of a wide range of pollutants and substances, thanks in part to the continuous updating of electronic equipment and research conducted.

Econs SA can make measurements on radon, thoron, asbestos, PCBs, and lead as well as verify contamination and emissions of alpha, beta, and gamma rays; such data can be correlated with temperature, relative humidity, atmospheric and differential pressure, oxygen, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, methane, and VOCs in order to understand their relationships.

The instrument fleet is continuously being updated and upgraded; by way of example, Econs SA has several types of equipment.

RADON AND THORON MONITORING

• • Scintillation cell radon detectors for radon and thoron determination (Tecnavia RadonMapper) with integrated CO2, O2, temperature and pressure measurement capability.
  • Specific radon detectors for radon measurement in water.
  • Geiger counters and radioactive contamination detectors capable of detecting alpha, beta and gamma rays.

MONITORING AMIANT

• • Asbestos fiber sampler for laboratory analysis  and equipment for aspiration of asbestos-containing materials.
