Max Uhlmann grew up in Biel and lives in Magglingen. After 1975, he first worked and was professionally associated with advocate Jürg Vontobel, later with advocate and notary Samuel Schmid and since 1982 also with attorney Daniel Hoffet as an independent lawyer. The law firm UHLMANN HERRMANN HOFFET JAGGI,  attorneys and notaries in Biel, Büren a.A. and Lyss, founded in 1999, was restructured in April 2018.

Contract law, in particular private construction law, employment law and tenancy law; public construction and planning law; commercial and corporate law; selected areas of criminal law; forensic and advisory work.
