.If you
want to train your horse effectively and in a horse-friendly way,
- want to know whether you have a metabolically ill horse with chronic diseases in the stable,
- want to support your horse with manual therapy
I will be happy to support you with my knowledge
About me
I would like to introduce myself briefly: My name is Andrea Möri and I am 43 years old. I am married and have two children. In addition to my family and my horses, I also work part-time in the IT industry.
Even as a little girl, I was fascinated by horses. I had my first riding experience at the age of 2 on a wonderful Haflinger mare. I enjoyed classical training in dressage and show jumping until I got into western riding. I have since moved on to Icelandic horses and Shetty'sWhen I moved to Bibern with my family 5 years ago, I got to know the Icelandic gelding Gandálfur and the Icelandic mare Lucca. A little later, the mini Shetty gelding Tim and the Shetty lady Maya joined us. The three of us look after the horses in our own open stable. The idyll wasn't quite perfect, however, as we had to deal with massive health problems, including laminitis, sweet itch, asthma, pastern damage and EMS
The questions that kept going through my mind were; What is the cause, what are we doing wrong, what can we do better? These questions prompted me to deal intensively with these topics
In 2019, I completed my training with Michael Geitner to become a Dual-Activation® and Equikinetic® trainer. In the same year, I decided to train with Dr. Christina Fritz as a horse nutrition expert and metabolic therapist. In April 2021, I completed my training to become an SFRV Energetic Equine Therapist and in summer 2021 I started my training in manual therapy (MATCH), which I successfully completed in summer 2022. In the meantime, I have continued my training in various areas.
