Parquet
The production of parquet today takes into account all environmentally relevant aspects.
Our raw material wood exemplifies the closed-loop principle. For the parquet industry, acting economically and ecologically is a matter of course, for example in:
- the use of wood from sustainable forestry (FSC certificates)
- the optimal utilization of the available raw material, including the incineration of waste and sawdust for heating and energy purposes
- the use of state-of-the-art machine and computer technology
- the minimal use of solvent-based glues and varnishes
The parquet industry thus takes full account of the high and varied requirements in terms of environmental protection, environmental impact and economical use of raw materials and energy.
We are aware of our responsibility towards nature, the environment and the consumer.
From a construction perspective, a distinction is made between solid parquet and multi-layer parquet.
Solid parquet consists of one piece of wood throughout its thickness and can be 8 to 24 mm thick. Multi-layer parquet can be constructed from two, three or even more different layers of wood.
Both product groups can be purchased ex works with a raw surface or with a finished surface (finished parquet).
Deciduous wood species (hardwood species) are best suited for parquet due to their hardness. Oak, ash, maple, cherry, acacia, olive, chestnut, birch and walnut are suitable European wood species for parquet.
Larch, pine, spruce or pitch pine as typical representatives of softwoods (softwoods) are used as country house planks / strip flooring.
Floor coverings
Floor coverings such as linoleum, rubber, CV coverings or cork are hygienic, easy to clean and have other versatile properties, which is why they are also used convincingly from the residential sector to a wide variety of special applications in the industrial sector.
Now, more and more seamless floor coverings made of PU or epoxy are being used. Such floor coverings leave practically nothing to be desired in terms of color choice and texture. We also have extensive experience in this area and will be happy to advise you.
