The Hummingbird Ergotherapy studio deals with children and young people (0-15 years old) and the different difficulties they encounter in their development.

Depending on the child's need, the goals in the ergotherapy course can be centered on, for example, improving aspects such as global motor skills and motor coordination, fine motor skills and graphomotricity, processing sensory stimuli, planning and organizing an activity or task. We also intervene to improve visual-spatial aspects and attention deficits. We help the child strengthen cognitive and social skills, propose strategies, compensatory means, adaptations and support the child in all activities of daily living.

During the sessions we mainly use play, a favorite learning engine in pediatric age to stimulate the development of deficit functions.

In addition to direct work with the child, we place great importance on parental counseling and collaboration with pediatricians and other professionals in contact with the child (e.g., teachers, speech therapist, psychologist, physical therapist, psychomotor therapist, OPI).
