Franke Kitchen Systems has developed the "Mirror" extractor hood, which reduces energy consumption by 40% thanks to an efficient motor and LED
lighting. A new filter system can be washed and reused several times. A system is currently being developed that reduces heat loss by cleaning the indoor air and returning it to the living area.

Climate-friendly refrigeration appliances from Franke Foodservice Systems - In the past, hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) were used as refrigerants. However, HFCs contribute to global warming. By using propane as a coolant for freezers, Franke Foodservice Systems has found a solution to replace HFCs. At the same time, the propane cooler uses less energy than conventional appliances. The innovative product protects the climate and helps our customers to save energy costs.

Stainless steel kegs are particularly environmentally friendly - Franke Group Beverage Systems...
has commissioned a study that compares the environmental impact of reusable stainless steel kegs with disposable PET containers throughout their entire life cycle. The study shows that the more often a stainless steel keg is used, the lower its impact on the environment. The decisive parameter here is the number of uses. From just 20 uses, the stainless steel keg causes fewer CO2 emissions and lower energy and water consumption compared to PET containers.
